“We visited Dr. Pensak for my 13 year old son’s broken and displaced finger. We got an initial appointment the very morning we called, and were scheduled for surgery the very next day. (I was amazed by this.) Throughout the 3 months my son was in the care of Dr. Pensak (and his wonderful assistant, Tiffany), we received top notch care. His finger was expertly repaired, and he was back to performing on the piano in time for the holiday season. Pensak’s professionalism and “bedside manner” are notable, too. Everything was always very thoroughly explained and all questions patiently answered for me. We never felt rushed or pressured. He was awesome with my very nervous son, too. Just some other comments: -The Toms River office is very clean and well-run. -Everyone who works there was unfailingly pleasant and helpful. -Same for their surgery center, and the physical therapy practice they recommended. I cannot recommend Dr. Pensak and co enthusiastically enough! ”

“I saw Dr Pensak for my trigger finger. He gave me options of trying injections first and if they didn’t work then surgery would be the last option. Dr Pensak never forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do. Everything was explained and he never rushed me out the door! After the two steroid injections didn’t work I chose the surgery. His office staff was very nice and helpful as was the staff at the SurgiCenter. Again everything was explained to me, I had the surgery and now I have no more pain from the trigger finger. Even the recovery wasn’t bad. I had my sutures removed today and he said if I needed him for anything or had questions about anything not to hesitate to call him. I truly hope I don’t get another annoying trigger finger again but if I do I’ll know where to go! ”

His staff is amazing and under unfortunate circumstances, it was a pleasure dealing with them. He spent all the time I needed answering all of my questions and concerns and never made me feel rushed. He genuinely cares and you would be in excellent hands. I had emergency surgery in the hospital and due to COVID restrictions, no one was able to accompany me. Dr. Pensak made certain that he kept in touch with my family and let them know what was going to take place and contacted them afterwards with results. He and his staff also called me at home on numerous occasions during the first two weeks of my recovery until they saw me in the office. If you get to choose your doctor, Dr. Pensak is a great choice. ”

“I had Carpal Tunnel release surgery on my right hand last week. I cannot be happier and amazed how my hand feels only 7 days post surgery. Dr. Pensak is spot on.
